The venerable John Harris is taking the plunge and opening a new brewpub in north Portland. The build out will be taking place over the next few months with a targeted open date in the Fall.

The New Old Lompoc may be gone, but the new Lompoc Tavern will strive to take its place. A brand new building will house the new pub and hopefully some of the character of the original will carry over. I look forward to visiting the new digs when they open sometime in May.

Tonight we are headed down to Silverton for the Brewer’s Dinner leading up to the Oregon Garden Brewfest which starts tomorrow.
